At Activation Church we believe God created every person in God's image with purpose, for relationship with God and other people, to experience and express God's authentic and transformational love and to make a difference in the world by putting that love into action, starting with their neighbors. At Activation Church, we can help you find purpose in life and in Costa Rica. At Activation Church you can meet good friends and grow healthy, life-giving relationships. At Activation Church you can experience God’s love and welcome others to experience God’s love with you and through you. At Activation Church you can get involved and make a positive difference for the wellbeing of your local community. At Activation Church we aim to do everything out of faith, hope, and love, not guilt, shame and fear, and we believe in doing everything we do with excellence that honors God and people.

For those who want to know more specifically what kind of church we are and what we believe, we are a non-denominational Christian church made up of Jesus followers from different Christian denominations, including Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Reformed, Catholic, Pentecostal, Calvary Chapel, Vineyard, and others, including many who are unaffiliated. We believe every Christian denomination is a testament to a move of God in history and we believe we are called to honor the whole church and family of Jesus Christ. We follow the principle of early Christian leaders: "In essentials, unity, in non-essentials, liberty, and in all things, love." Below you will find what we believe to be the essentials of our faith as followers of Jesus Christ.

OUR MISSION

Activation Church exists to fulfill the Great Commandments (Mt 22:37-40) and Great Commission (Mt 28:18-20) of Jesus as we help people find their purpose, meet good friends, experience God’s love and make a positive difference in our community.
